Over three Tuesdays during Advent, we’ll be considering three scenes from the gospels which highlight the relationship between Mary and Jesus:

• November 30, 7-8pm central/6-7pm mountain: The Presentation in the Temple - Luke 2:22-40

• December 7, 7-8pm central/6-7pm mountain: The Wedding at Cana - John 2:1-11

• December 14, 7-8pm central/6-7pm mountain: Who are My Mother and My Brothers? - Matthew 12:46-50

What light does this relationship between mother and son shed on our relationship with Jesus and with other key figures in our lives? What do we learn from both Jesus and Mary about praying more deeply into all our relationships? How can they help us to draw closer to those around us – our neighbors – as well as to all of humanity, even all of creation?
